Southwest SWABIZ Promotion
The Connexxus Travel program is pleased to announce a UC-discount program with Southwest Airlines exclusively for UC travelers and guests. Effective August 1st, a special 90-day promotional program will be available (ending October 31st). Details are as follows:
- All “Business Select” and “Anytime” fares receive a 25% discount (Note: “Business Select” is considered an upgrade and may not be a reimbursable expense)
- All other fares (excluding “Wanna Get Away”) receive a 10% discount
- “Wanna Get Away” fares (Southwest exclusive discounted web only airfare) receive a 5% discount which applies only to trips booked 0-7 days in advance
- Book through the SWABIZ link located on the Connexxus Portal
When the promotional discount period ends on October 31st, the following discounts will be available to UC travelers and guests:
- “Business Select” and “Anytime” fares receive an 8% discount (Note: “Business Select” is considered an upgrade and may not be a reimbursable expense)
- All other fares, including “Wanna Get Away” receive a 5% discount (which applies only to trips booked 0-7 days in advance)
Please note: Southwest will review UC travel data each quarter. Based on performance goals, UC may have an opportunity to increase the 8% and 5% discount program during the winter 2014.
Other Exciting News
Between July 24th – August 31st Southwest will offer UC travelers a complimentary A-List status match offer. Attached is a status match form with instructions of how to request the A-List status match. Please take the time to review the terms and follow the instructions if you choose to enroll. Southwest must receive all status forms no later than August 31, 2013 - no exceptions.
The current UC-SWABIZ program featuring bonus Rapid Rewards will remain in effect in conjunction with the new discount program. If you are not a Rapid Reward member and would like to enroll login to the SWABIZ site located at the Connexxus portal, and select the “Enroll Now” link located on the right side of the UC SWABIZ home page.
Southwest discounts and bonus Rapid Rewards are valid exclusively through the SWABIZ link located on the Connexxus travel portal. These benefits are not offered through the Connexxus agencies.
